  Regarding the waiting time, we arrived and went to the office in the airport, after queueing for 10min, the woman at the counter told us that we should directly go to the office in the parking to save time (there was just one person before us).

  Be careful when getting add-ons (ex gas tank), the price they give you out loud is not the real price. I was charged more than what I agreed for because the seller told me a price that was not including VAT and since we were in the rush to leave (they had us waiting more than 40min at the office !) we didn't read the small details of the contract.

  Although I rented with a full tank policy, they offered us a tank for 35euros, saying that the first 5euros were free. We agreed to it. Checking my bank accounts I was charged 41,63€ and not 35€ as offered by the guy at the counter. As previously explained their seller don't include VAT when they tell you a price so expect to be charged more. I rent car at Valencia airport twice a year, I don't think I will rent through this company next time. There are other discount rental companies with a direct office in the airport (ex: Firefly)

  don't rent from them unless you wanna get ripped off. got extra charges after returning the car without any invoice. and somehow they charged me 12% premium location fee which i do not know of. Also accused us for causing the damage that was already on the car.A absolutely dishonest company.

  Regarding the waiting time our contract was supposed to start at 8am, I just checked the contract they gave me there and the time written on the contract is 9:04am, that gives you an idea of the waiting time at Sixt Valencia Airport.

  Minus: the lady at the desk in the main office was dishonest though. I had booked a 4 seats car, she kept insisting that I have booked a smart (2 seats) and there will be no space for our laugages. She offered upgrade to an opel corsa for 15€/day.

  Plus: quick, effecient. The lady who handed over the car to us in the parking was very nice and helpful.

  Very agressive upselling, i.e. stating that we would get an old car of an old model in the chosen category. Dishonest treatment when agreeing on one price for the upgrade/insurance and then we were charged another.

  Prices are very interesting (not the cheapest in the airport but we knew the brand Sixt so we decided to got for it out of safety and trust) although when you pay for the insurance (not included) they will charge you more than twice the price of the rental : for us rental was about 86€ and they offered us insurance for an extra 130€.

  Then I showed her my reservation papers. She then gave up and agreed I am right but then insisted an opel corsa will be “too boring and exhausting” to travel with and we shall upgrade.

  We did what she said and went to the parking. There the queue did not seem to be moving, we had two families before us and only one staff member despite the two counters. After waiting for 40min we went to the counter since it was our turn and the staff member told us "is it okay if I do the contract for this person?" showing us a person that was waiting in a corner and that was indeed already in the room when we arrived. He did the contract of the lady then ours (what's the point of pre-booking and pre-paying online ?). He made us sign the contract and gave us the keys and that's it ! We didn't got to inspect the car with him (but when we returned the car of course there was an inspection), we didn't got any problem regarding the condition of the car but usually when I rent at Valencia airport I rent through enterprise and there is an inspection before and after. It is not the case here.
